Designed specifically for harsh Indian power conditions, the new BI650SINE provides pure sine wave backup power for home electronics like television sets, home theatre systems, stereo sets, gaming equipment, as well as for lights and fans. At that level, you probably need a power consultant to come in and re-asses your backup power plan. This really isn't a question for Yahoo! Answers. I like the idea of just enough battery for a generator but the more I think about it, you need an expert (with experience) to look at your power needs and come up with a solution that will keep you running during brief and extended power outages.
You could go with a 3rd party consultancy or see if APC or competitor has a sales office and can do this for a reduced cost or free.
