Will I have problems wiring up amps and subs to my $40 dollar dual head unit?

I'm afraid it's too crappy to make my speakers and/or amp and subs perform correctly
I just bought this dual xr4110 at wal mart for 40 bucks. It has one set of preamplifier slots(1 white and red? jacks). It definitely sounds like it has more bass with the stock head unit. I have not decided on an amp or subs other than 2 twelve inchers.

But if your really second guessing yourself it wont cost more then 100$ to hook up a decent brand new sony into your car. Im curious what is the model of the one your thinking of using now?
