about computer tower or case?
i connect everything to this cheap raidmax atx 2000b pc tower and pc turns on then turns off after a couple of seconds i take everything out and set it up without case and turns on and works the inside of the tower is like some cheap aluminum metal is there something with that that makes it not start, should i get another tower?
im building a computer and everything is new tower motherboard and other stuff worked and turns on in a hp tower but in this raidmax it doesnt turn on
First and foremost, is the fan on your CPU (The fan that is on the actual motherboard) turning? And is there allot of dirt/dust buildup? Dirt and dust act as an insulator, and a closes case permits heat to build up. It is remotely possible the heat buildup is causing it. Remotely. You may also try adding a case fan.
Second you did not mention if after taking it out of the case, you tried to put everything back in. That is always step one, trying to recreate the problem. If the problem is recreate able with the same case, I would recommend you purchase a new case at a place that will permit you to return it, and try with that case. It will most likely solve the issue, and at worst if it doesn't, you can always return the case.
