How to convert normal broadband modem to Wi Fi?
I have got a broadband connection of MTNL using Sterlite SAM300 AX modem. It has got two ports and I am using simultaneously a PC and a Laptop. I want to know that is there any facility or a dongle available which can be connected to one of the port and I can convert the signal to Wi-Fi as then I will have the facility of using my laptop from anywhere in the home.
As you mentioned there are two ports available on to Modem.If it so then it is very nice to go ahead. Just purchase any Wireless router APs preferably of Linksys or Netgear power it and connect one of it's port by with Modem and assign one LAN IP based on your local range.
