Toshiba Laptop Repair Guide
In fact, most Toshiba laptops very easy to work on, accessible and well made. The factor that governs whether a machine can be repaired is availability of parts and cost, market value, time involved in the repair, tools and equipment required, and general state of the machine taking into account any other defects.
Determine the market value of your current laptop. If your laptop motherboard fails, but it costs more expensive than the price of a new motherboard, then you should not make improvements. If your laptop has a simple mistake like a broken keyboard, then in most cases it's worth the time and the cost of fitting a replacement.
Most Toshiba parts that are exchanged with others, especially on older laptops.
