Any reviews for the CONN Professional silver trumpet Brand: 52B?
im currently in the process of upgrading my trumpet and i was wondering if anyone has reviews for the CONN 52B?
This is a not good but great horn for your money. It costs about $1300.
The features on this horn are features you find on proffessional trumpets. It has a reverse leadpipe, i don't know if you know or not but that means that the main tuning slide is shaped similarly to the third valve slide so the air goes into the slide instead or taking that step- long story short, it makes it freeblowing. It also has a Modular Valve Weight system that is a $100 value. If you play jazz, this is a great feature, you can add the weights on the bottom of the valve casings so that the tone sounds deeper and darker, you can just remove them for regular play. The valve stems are short so that they come up faster- it lets you play fast. It also has a .462 inch bore which is something good players need- so the large bore and reverse leadpipe helps the horn be more freeblowing. It comes with a 3c ckb mouthpiece not a regular mouthpiece. It comes with a hardshell wood case. THe engraving on this horn is also nice too. If you want more reviews, look around(like on brassreview.com or wwbw.com or wherever), I only found positive reviews.
