Can it be used with a laptop?
That is probably the worse thing you can use for recording: PINNACLE, DAZZLE, EASYCAP, and all those little things that look like that are basically the same junk. You can get it is cheap and it will produce cheap recordings too. Your video and audio will lag. The recording will be to dark to edit in some parts and a host of other problematic issues. You can buy it and let us know how it goes. Some ppl swear to it because they dont know any better. Let me answer your questions.
Is it easy to use?
Probably, most find it easy to use for novice. You might have to get used to using the software that runs on your computer, but that is normal.
Is it compatible with a PS3 Slim and a Toshiba Regza TV?
Yes, you can connect it with the red, yellow, and white wires. it does not upscale the video. it is only composite video.
Does it record in HD?
of course NOT
Can it be used with a laptop?
You cannot use it any other way. the laptop or computer is the only way to use this device.
